I especially appreciated this episode since the Sonoran was my introduction to desert environments. I clearly remember taking a bus from Phoenix to Tucson almost 50 years ago, where I had flown in from Ohio, and staring at the saguaro-sided landscape, totally puzzled about what I was seeing. The episode also brought back almost-forgotten memories of my first visits to Saguaro NP and the AZ-Sonora Desert Museum. Loved hearing about the long-term saguaro research! Thanks, Chris and Alicia!
