The Verdin is Now 90 Miles from Needles
Hi folks! If you’re receiving this email and you’re not sure why, it’s likely because you subscribed to Chris Clarke’s environmental news email newsletter The Verdin. If that’s the case, you have probably figured out by now that The Verdin is no longer publishing.
Chris is now conspiring with Alicia Pike to produce a desert environmental podcast, 90 Miles from Needles. We are repurposing this newsletter as a companion to that podcast. Since the purposes of 90 Miles from Needles and The Verdin are substantially similar, we figured people who had subscribed to The Verdin might well be interested in 90 Miles from Needles. (A few of you are getting this because you signed up for 90MFN’s newsletter in the last week or so. Thanks!)
If you would rather not continue receiving the revamped email newsletter, we understand, we apologize for the inconvenience, and you can unsubscribe here.
But if you’d like to learn more about our desert protection podcast, all you need to do is… nothing. Sit tight, and we’ll send you a note twice a month letting you know about new episodes, each of which will cover at least one aspect of desert environmental issues. We may also include updates about actions you can take and special events, or links to important campaigns.
We will never include advertising. And we will never sell your email address.
Questions? Just reply to this email.
Thanks for reading! Again, we appreciate your patience whether or not you stick with us. Stay safe. Wear a mask. Get vaxxed and boosted. The desert needs you.
